I’m Davie Douglas, and I started Interesting Adventuree to capture that feeling. This is a space for anyone who believes that a life well-lived is measured in experiences, not just miles. It is for those who look at a map and find themselves drawn to the blank spaces and the winding lines.

The Philosophy of Discovery

Adventure is often framed as a series of grand, peak-bagging achievements, but I believe it is something much more personal. To me, an “interesting adventure” is one that challenges your perspective. It’s about the curiosity to turn down an unmarked path, the patience to wait for the light to hit a canyon just right, and the willingness to get a little mud on your boots in exchange for a story worth telling.
